Users can tag profiles/EID by selecting 1 or more rows and clicking on the Tags icon.
A pop up will allow users to set an existing tag or enter a new tag (Max 35 characters). Existing tags can be selected from a dropdown list populated upon entering at least 1 character.
Multiple tags can be set for a profile and tags can be unset by clicking the X next to the tag name.
Our platform offer two distinct methods for tagging a SIM card tailored to customer preferences and usage:
Card or EID level tagging involves assigning tags to the EID of a SIM, which is also printed on the SIM card. To assign tags at the card level (EID), this must be done in the "SIMs/eSIMs" menu.
Profile or ICCID level tagging involves assigning tags to the ICCID of a SIM. Since tracking is sometimes based on ICCIDs, we offer the capability to use ICCIDs for identification. With eUICC-enabled SIMs, multiple profiles can exist on the same SIM card. In such cases, it becomes efficient to tag different profiles or ICCIDs on the same card. This could done in the menu “SIM Profiles”.
The search mechanism functions accordingly:
If tags are applied at the EID level via the "SIMs/eSIMs" menu, you can search for the SIM using the tag in that menu.
If tags are applied at the ICCID level via the "SIM Profiles" menu, you can search for the SIM using the tag in that menu.
Tags assigned to the EID do not appear in the "SIM Profiles" menu, and tags assigned to the ICCID do not appear in the "SIMs/eSIMs" menu.
We recommend assigning tags based on the identification used in your internal systems, whether at the EID or ICCID level. Our bulk upload capability allows you to assign tags in bulk in a single operation, either at the EID level or ICCID level.
